Brisbane Discount Lights and Taps is an authorised retailer of everything we sell! That means all our items carry with them a manufactures warranty of 12 months minimum, with some products having a conditional lifetime warranty.

Please refer to the product listing for warranty information. If you cannot find it, are confused or want more information, do not hesitate to email us.

 

I have purchased an item and have a manufacturing problem with it. What’s next? 

If you have purchased a product from us and think you have an issue regarding warranty, please contact the manufacturer of the item first. You can usually find manufactures details in the box of your item, by a quick google search or email us at sales@bdlt.com.au and we can help you out.

 All shipping costs must be covered by the consumer for warranty unless otherwise stated.

An electrical product, must be installed by a licensed electrician (Excludes DIY items), so the manufacturer will require proof of this through an electricians receipt.

A plumbing product, must be installed by a licensed plumber, so the manufacturer will require proof of this through a plumbers receipt.

Failure to install an electrical or plumbing product by an electrician or plumber may void the manufactures warranty.

 

What is not covered by a manufactures warranty?

Some issues not covered by a manufactures warranty are:

  • Incorrect product installation
  • Standard wear and tear
  • Improper use of an item

Also, modifying the original product or attempting to repair it will void your warranty.
